Leo New Moon 2025: Manifest Bold Desires, Reclaim Your Power, and Light Up Your Life

The New Moon in Leo, which occurs on July 24 at 12:11 PM PT and 3:11 PM ET, marks the beginning of a fresh cycle. In the sign of Leo, this luminary opposes Pluto retrograde in Aquarius, connecting softly with Saturn and Neptune retrograde in Aries and Uranus in Gemini. It’s a time for us to embrace our passionate thoughts and to take action around manifesting our dreams.

Pluto retrograde creates power struggles and the need to dominate or control situations. The flip side is that we can use the energy to heal, especially with the presence of Neptune, if we acknowledge our emotional triggers and soothe them by self-reflection. Saturn retrograde offers a stabilizing force that can anchor our feelings through understanding. Uranus encourages us to fight for what we want and believe to be true on a soulful level.

The day before the New Moon, on July 23, Venus in Gemini and Mars in Virgo square off, urging us to embrace others. This transit isn’t bad; it just adds a tinge of passion and gusto toward aligning us with others. It also heightens our desires and lusty sentiments. The Buck Full Moon in Capricorn, also known as the Thunder Moon, occurs on July 10 at 1:37 PM PST and 4:37 PM EST. The first Full Moon of summer pushes us to contemplate and think about where we are heading and where we are coming from. Having faith in ourselves gives us the strength and motivation to evolve into the person we want to be.

Action planet Mars in Virgo and the Nodes of Destiny activate this lunation. They offer us the opportunity to take charge of our fate and to will things to our advantage. Letting go and healing the past are essential since Mars is intertwined with the South Node of Destiny. Through reflection and mindfulness, we can assess a transformative experience that transcends our present and future.

Later in the day, Venus in Gemini shares a minor aspect with Jupiter in Cancer. This planetary connection ensures positive energy around money, relationships, and love. It will allow us abundance and prosperity in all we do. The caveat is that we are in the pre-shadows of Saturn retrograde (which begins on July 13) and Mercury retrograde (which commences on July 18). We may find that bunkering down on an intention is complex, especially since Neptune is currently retrograde. From Neptune to Mercury, we will experience the cosmic effects of these planetary backspins, allowing us to rethink our desires and motives.

Pluto Retrograde in Aquarius

Dates: May 4 to October 13

Pluto retrograde in Aquarius is a time when we reassess our desires and plans for the future. Understanding that our expectations from the community aren’t what we hoped for will allow us to focus on how we can evolve as individuals. Past imbalances and power struggles in relationships will resurface, but we’ll have an easier time resolving them.

Neptune Retrograde in Aries and Pisces

Dates: July 4 to December 10

Our intuition and experiences will be more intense, allowing us to embrace our emotions and senses. Focusing on what seems true to us as individuals is essential, especially on October 22, when Neptune moonwalks into Pisces, which takes us to the beginning of March. New Moon in Cancer June 2025: Emotional Reset, Intuition, and Fresh Starts

The first New Moon of the summer is going to be exciting and thrilling! The lunation occurs on June 25 at 3:31 AM Pacific Standard  Time and 6:31 AM Eastern Standard Time. Being that the Moon rules the zodiac sign Cancer, it means that we are going to be feeling our feels intimately. Our intuition is also going to be at a high, allowing us to understand our sentiments on a deeper level as well as the motives of others. Prepare to get swept away by the nostalgic and sentimental tides that the New Moon in Cancer is bringing our way.

Since the New Moon connects with the action planet Mars in Virgo, expansive Jupiter in Cancer, restrictive Saturn in Aries, and hopeful Neptune in Aries, we are going to be making our most realistic dreams come true.
