The first New Moon of 2026 is here!

The New Moon in Capricorn occurs on January 18 at 11:52 AM Pacific Time and 2:52 PM Eastern Time. The energy is proving that to manifest our dreams and aspirations, we must be ready to let go of what or who is no longer serving us. With every passing minute, we become stronger and wiser, which encourages us to be our best selves. We are becoming clear on our aspirations.

Communicative Mercury in Capricorn, action oriented Mars in Capricorn, disciplined Saturn in Pisces, elusive Neptune in Pisces, and erratic Uranus retrograde in Taurus are aspecting the New Moon in Capricorn. The immense cosmic mix is going to bring confusion and uncertainty in how we should proceed. We may want to charge ahead, due to Mars in Capricorn; however, Neptune in Pisces is making us ambivalent about our next goal and what we want. The truth of the matter is that we don’t have to know. We might be afraid to make a change because the unknown is scary, but once we embrace our autonomy and fears, we will feel limitless. 

Passionate asteroid Eris in Aries is intensifying our emotions, prompting us to speak and act impulsively. Be mindful of what is said because it will come back to haunt us in the weeks ahead. The presence of the asteroid Lilith, which is in Scorpio, urges us to retaliate toward those who’ve hurt us in the past. Even though the mood to battle out our sentiments and differences might strike, we’ll opt to transform our own lives instead of fighting with others. After all, the best revenge is living well.
