THE HARVEST FULL MOON IN PISCES

September 20 brings the last Full Moon of summer, signifying a time to begin the autumnal harvest (the Harvest Moon is the Full Moon closest to the Fall Equinox, which is on September 22). This is a meaningful time for change and growth, making it the most important Full Moon of 2021.

The lumnation connects with tender Neptune, who’s retrograde in Pisces, and transformative Pluto, who’s retrograde in Capricorn. Our visions have power now. Anything and everything that we’ve ever desired will have fertile energy to grow. If you want it, you can make it happen in reality.

Mercury, which is in Libra, and Jupiuer, who’s retrograde in Jupiter, connect an hour before the Full Moon, adding positivity and good fortune to the overall vibe. After the Full Moon, Mars, who’s in Libra, harmonizes with the Nodes of Destiny. This astrological aspect will give our dreams wings to fly. Intentions set will be able to take off and soar at this moment.

The Sabian Symbol associated with this is a “Light Breaking Into Many Colors As It Passes Through A Prism.” It’s a perfect time to embrace all possibilities in life, as well as hope. The impossible will seem obtainable and attainable if we think outside-the-box by embracing our creativity, imagination, and heartfelt sentiments. The fixed star Scheat encourages us to forgo tradition and to focus on bringing in fresh ideas.

Overall, the Harvest Full Moon in Pisces is a wonderful time to lean into what we love and want to manifest throughout the upcoming season. We are getting rid of outdated mindsets, beliefs, and feelings by moving towards an innovative, spiritual, and soulful ideology.

*The Harvest Full Moon in Pisces occurs on September 20 at 4:55 PM PDT and 7:55 PM EDT.

Harvest Moon Ritual:

It’s time to set new intentions. But, first we have to take stock of what is no longer serving us. Make two lists on separate pieces of paper. The first one will note everything that you no longer want, the other list should note what you want to bring into your life. Take the list of what you wish to release and rip it up, then throw it away. Place the list of what you are bringing into your life under the moon, let it absorb the lunar energy to help your dreams flourish. Then, take a bath with lavender (you can use 3 drops of lavender oil, a half cup of fresh or dried lavender), Epsom or Pink Himalayan salt, a few drops of Florida water, and amethyst infused moon water (take a container of water and place it under the moon’s glow so it can absorb its potency). Light a few white candles around the bath (practice fire safety while doing so). Play soft tunes that align with your goals. Think of your intentions while soaking in the bath or taking a shower. Feel the water melting away the past. Let the water heal, cleanse, and allow you to bring in newness. Meditate on your dreams, and they will become a part of your reality.
