The Sun and Moon oppose each other in the sky, while the Earth resides in between the two planets. The juxtaposition and position of the planets create a glowing effect on the Moon that makes it look brighter than ever from the Earth’s perspective.
The full moon represents the culmination of the 30-day lunar cycle. All of the projects that we’ve been working on for the past month reach an ending or hit a pivotal turning point. Change and growth have happened. Now is the time to reflect and enjoy the fruits of our labors.
The Full Moon occurs on April 16 at 11:55 AM PT and 2:55 PM ET.
The Pink Full Moon gets its name from the pholus or moss that grows in North America.
The Full Moon in Libra squares Pluto and aspects Saturn, which means that resolving and evolving interpersonal relationships, self-love, and romance are at the forefront of our desires. Therefore, we can expect to experience transformation and growth within relationships and personal matters.
If situations or partnerships have been off-balance, this is a time in which implementing structure is necessary — even though it’ll take a lot of work. If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and put the energy into bettering partnerships, mindsets, and ourselves then the Full Moon will be an extremely metamorphic and healing time.
Luckily, the Full Moon falls between the fortunate fixed stars Spica and Arcturus. This energy will add promise and positivity to the somewhat fraught connection of the Plutonian energy. We will want to win at all we do, giving us the power to take on matters that require a lot of effort, work, and determination. The good news is that we’ll prevail stronger than ever.
The energy of the lunation can be intense. Mediation is key for relaxation. Close your eyes and breathe in and out. Focus on the light that shines brightly within yourself to decompress. You can do this for as long as you like.
Light a brown candle to add balance and stability to your life. Write your intentions down on a piece of paper and place it under the candle (which should be burning in a bowl of water to call in the spirits).
Burn patchouli or camphor incense to cleanse the home, and spirit, and relieve stress. These scents will help to ground, heal, and awaken our energy. Therefore, it’s ideal for the Full Moon.

The first new moon of the astrological new year occurs on March 31 at 11:24 PM PT and April 1 at 2:24 AM ET in Aries.
This lunation aligns with Mercury and the centaur Chiron — all of whom are in Aries. Therefore, it’s a time of opening up and letting others know about our pain, trauma, and upsets. The only way to mend our hearts and to be free from these emotional hardships is to discuss them in order to let the healing begin.
The new moon is also a time to start implementing matters. We can create the life we want. Our goals aren’t too far out of reach and with the right amount of manifestation can happen. We are the ones in control at the moment and can make our dreams a reality.
This lunation is a great time to make amends with people from the past. Write a letter to a person that has upset you or that you’ve wronged. You don’t have to send it to them, but getting your feelings out on paper will allow you to understand your emotions on a deeper level. Plus, it will put the energy out into the universe that will help you towards forgiving the situation. When you’re done, rip up the paper to have all these sentiments expelled from your life.
Being that the centaur Chiron is in the mix of this luminary, we should manifest global peace. Take a blue candle and light it at the time of the new moon. Think about how you want the world to come together as one and heal.
Light a white candle (Although red is the color of Mars, the new moon occurs on Friday which is Venus’s day. You can always use a red candle if you want.) to open the pathways ahead of you. Carve your name and astrological symbol into the candle. Anoint the candle with a dab of almond or sunflower oil. Then roll it on crushed bay leaves, mint, and cinnamon. Set your intentions and light the candle to bring your dreams to life.
The first ever Pluto Return of the United States occurs on February 22, 2022. This astrological phenomenon is one of the defining moments of the year and is set to transform the country, as well as the world we live in. Get ready for the historic event that will rock the country and change our lives.
This happens when the dwarf planet Pluto returns to the degree and sign it was during the occurrence of an event or birth.
Known as a metamorphic dwarf planet, Pluto changes our lives — eventually for the better. The path towards growth is hard, due to resistance. This is why Pluto will keep you on your toes until you make the necessary edits and decisions to transform yourself. Think of the Tower card in the tarot. The more you wait to evolve, the more destructive push you’ll get from The Universe to do so. However, once things are torn apart, they are put back together in the manner they should be by Pluto.
A Pluto Return occurs every 248 years, which means it’s no small feat. The last time Pluto was at the same degree and sign (27 degrees of Capricorn to be exact) was during the signing of The Declaration of Independence in 1776. This is when the U.S. became it’s own country apart from Britain.
Being that we, as humans, will never experience our Pluto Returns, we can experience this transit through events, such as the birth of nations and the recurring symbolism or themes of historic events.
The United States is experiencing it’s Pluto Return on February 22, 2022 for the first time ever. The planetary return which happens every 248 years has brought down empires and changed rulerships.
When Pluto first moved into Capricorn on November 27, 2008 there was a major shift in the cosmos that will last until January 21, 2024. Transformation was implemented in the way society handled business, money, and how we relate to authority. Being that Capricorn is a sign known for its ambition and Pluto is a dwarf planet known for change, this transit began to transcend matters on a great scale.
Since the planetary shift in 2008, we have seen falls from power of those who’ve abused their status, the rise of #MeToo, and the Black Lives Matter movement has swept the globe. The dichotomy of who ran the country is shifting and the people who live in the U.S. want change.
The foundation of the U.S. has many cracks in it, which is why we can expect to see it being rebuilt in a better way in which the people hold the power. The government has to be accountable and responsible for the wrong doings of its past — particularly the racist and misogynistic roots that the country was founded on. The time and reckoning has come for the country to make reparations and redefine the culture that its founders built. A restoration is necessary.
Also, the U.S. government will have to acknowledge that the world is evolving at rampant speed and make changes that are in alignment with the transformative pulse of the universe. One of these shifts will be seen through the advancement of cryptocurrency and labor laws.
The U.S. is a flawed country that was built on lies. Now is the time to make a change. This is the United State’s time to evolve !
