WHAT HAPPENS DURING A FULL MOON?

The Sun and Moon oppose each other in the sky, while the Earth resides in between the two planets. The juxtaposition and position of the planets create a glowing effect on the Moon that makes it look brighter than ever from the Earth’s perspective. Being that July 13 brings a Supermoon (the most major one of the year), it brings the Moon closer to Earth which will make the lunation appear bigger and more vibrant than ever.

WHAT DOES IT REPRESENT?

The full moon represents the culmination of the 30-day lunar cycle. All of the projects that we’ve been working on for the past month reach an ending or hit a pivotal turning point. Change and growth have happened. Now is the time to reflect and enjoy the fruits of our labors.

WHEN DOES JULY’S FULL MOON IN CAPRICORN OCCUR?

The Full Moon occurs on July 13 at 11:37 AM PT and 2:37 PM ET.

HERE'S WHERE THE BUCK  MOON GETS ITS NICKNAME.

The name originated from the regrowth of the antlers on buck deers at this time of the year.

WHAT DOES THE FULL MOON IN CAPRICORN MEAN, ASTROLOGICALLY SPEAKING?

The Full Moon connects with Uranus in Taurus, Neptune retrograde in Pisces, and Pluto in Capricorn. There are going to be a lot of major eye-opening experiences that will be exposed at this time. For the first time, we are seeing matters for what they truly are. This could allude to power struggles, illusions being shattered, and truths being revealed. The time has come to take charge and move away from situations that no longer serve our best and highest interests. Use the energy to transform your world.

Being that the planetary ruler of the Moon is Saturn, who’s retrograde in Aquarius, we will want to boss up and move forward with our lives in the most extraordinary way possible. Venus in Gemini is harmonizing with Saturn retrograde and nearing a square with Neptune retrograde. Don’t put on a brave face and shy away from your emotions. Feel your feelings. Say what’s on your mind. Be real with yourself and others.

It’s important to cleanse our energy at this moment in time to give us the incentive and strength to be the powerful being that we are.

WHAT RITUALS SHOULD YOU DO DURING THE FULL MOON?

An energetic cleansing with baby’s breath flowers (the petals only), a teaspoon of cascarilla, a dash of white rum, and a few drops of Florida water. Combine all ingredients with a glass of water. Then, over your shoulders go downwards in the shower.

A warm bath with Epsom salt, chamomile, and lavender with a dash of white rum and Florida water will help to detox your energy. You can bring all ingredients to a boil in a pot and strain it, then use the room temperature water in a shower by pouring it over your shoulders going downwards. This will bring relaxation and clarity.

A grounding exercise like earthing is a really good way to connect with your emotions. If you can, walk around barefoot or sit in a chair and press your feet into the ground. Release all of the extra energy from your body while you feel the earth.

THE FULL MOON HAS A MESSAGE FOR EACH ZODIAC SIGN.
