Full Moon In Cancer Wellness.

A full moon that occurs between December 22 and January 20 will be in Cancer. Use this time of helpful, quiet moon energy for all workings pertaining to family, children, and fertility. The feminine energy that radiates through the cancer moon will aid nurturing the imagination, dreams, working with the home, connections to ancestors, and tradition. Being that cancer is an emotional water sign, you will want to pay special attention to your lymphatic system, lungs, breasts, and stomach. When the the moon is in Cancer it has the ability to shift our general state into one of restlessness, because the emotional world (as with all watery signs) takes on added depth and weight.

It is absolutely important during this time to pay specific attention to our diet, making sure to keep our chest warm and protected from the cold air, and by maintaining the health of our digestive tracts by feeding our bodies healing and nutrient rich foods that prevent inflammation of the stomach lining. Avoid overly processed goods, and refrain from highly acidic, and alcoholic beverages that may add excess strain and stress on the liver and your bodies ability to detoxify itself. Anything that puts a heavier burden on the chest, lungs, stomach, liver, and gall bladder in the Cancer moon days has a more harmful effect than on other days.
