The Buck Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn

Lots of endings and beginnings are coming our way this weekend! The final eclipse of summer occurs on July 4th PST and July 5th EST. This lunar eclipse in Capricorn serves as the culmination of the Nodal series in Cancer and Capricorn that started on November 7th, 2018. This luminary also is the closing energy to the New Moon in Capricorn that occurred on January 5th, 2019.

This luminary is the peak celestial energy of the month, as it will let us know how successful we have been with the projects, relationships, and visions that began in the autumn of 2018. Have we reached our objectives? Have we achieved our goals? Are the bonds we’ve made strong and long lasting? Are we happy with who and what we’ve committed ourselves to?

The only caveat to understanding our personal  truths is that the ruler of the Capricorn Moon, is Saturn who’s currently retrograde in Capricorn. We may be unsure about how to move forward, or if we’re ready to take the next step in our relationships, or if we want to cut ties. Mercury, who’s retrograde in Cancer, connects with the luminary and adds more uncertainty to our personal dilemmas. Therefore, it’s wise to use this energy to assess our emotions and gain clarity on how we feel about things. Mars, who’s in Aries, and Uranus, who’s in Taurus, also connect with this eclipse, bringing extra flair and drama to the table. Try not to get too down and too lost in emotions during the eclipse. Reach out and connect with close friends or family if you are feeling anxious or sad.

This eclipse is a time of reflection.

The Moon aligns with the fixed star Ascella, which will bring good times,  friends, and gifts for the future if we are honest with our new hopes.
