Which Goddess or Goddess Archetype do you most identify with and why?

My highest self, Oshun, and Sekhmet illuminate different facets of myself. I honor, praise and even envy my highest self because she’s the aspect of me whose omnipotent, gracious, and a guide who knows exactly who I am and what I need in this particular spiritual journey. Sometimes I’m all over the place and get off track, but she keeps my ass in check to see the bigger picture.

Yeye Oshun elevates me by embodying the divine feminine and womanhood as a whole. Her essence flows through me like the sweet waters she rules -creativity, confidence and self assurance, beauty, treating herself like royalty, divination, love, strength, healing and raw honesty. The epitome of sweet and spicy! I am her reflection.

Sekhmet’s duality resonates with my spirit. As a creator, she is the sun- her energy is radiant, healing, the Earth’s medicine. She’s cognizant of her vigorous power and transmutes it in an alchemical way. As the destroyer, she is fire- fiercely burning, it’s power is intimidating but a reminder that from death comes rebirth. Her identity encourages me that it’s okay to be reborn and rediscover myself. There’s a masculine element of that that I admire to balance out my overt femininity.

How do you get in touch with/unleash your inner goddess ?

Image-13.jpg

Being draped up and dripped down in jewels ( especially ones I created) and crystals is my signature goddess activator!

Creating, twerking and swaying my hips, dressing my body in sweet scents, prayer, baths, working with lunar energies, sex magic and grounding myself in Earth’s elements also allows my goddess power to roam freely.

What is your Goddess superpower?

My pure intentions, sensitivity, intuition, clairaudience, and creativity amalgamates into my unique super power.  As an empath and Scorpio moon, I do a lot of feeling. It took me a while to figure out what exactly to do with those feelings, cause it’s A LOT! To avoid internalizing, I feel compelled to express. Initially it manifested in a way that I needed to say it out loud, which I’m still learning that it’s not necessary and my delivery isn’t always easy to digest. As an alternative, I discovered the ability to transmute it into my art, being a vessel to guide and heal others, and most importantly heal myself. Tuning into my clairaudience forced me to be a better listener, strengthening my intuition and personal relationships.

What are some important words of wisdom that you'd like to share with other Goddesses out there ?

Your goddess power is activated once you acknowledge that is embedded in you as a divine gift from the highest power. Don’t sleep!

“A goddess is a woman who emerges from deep within herself. She is a woman who has honestly explored her darkness and learned to celebrate her light. She is a woman who is able to fall in love with the magnificent possibilities within her. She is a woman who knows of the magic and mysterious places inside her, the sacred places that can nurture her soul and make her whole. She is a woman who radiates light. She is magnetic.” - Rafael Espitia Perea
