Witch Tips:

This week delivers awesome opportunities to grow and set yourself on a path that will yield real results. The catch is that you need to believe in what you’re doing. If you don’t act in ways that are true to you, you’ll find that you’ve created a rut that’s hard to bust out of. You don’t need immediate results, you need solid ones. Don’t seek assurances, seek self-confidence. Self-possession isn’t conditional; it comes from your center, and when you’ve got it, the little stuff won’t throw you off of it.

From the 9th-11th this week, friendly Mercury will form a square to rigid Saturn. You’re likely to be concerned with heavy themes or to find yourself stuck in a pessimistic soup of thoughts that having you feeling low. If you have work to do that requires attention to detail or heavy concentration, this is a great time to do it. Mercury governs your friendships, your neighborhood, your attitudes, and how you communicate. Saturn’s influence is always critical and heavy, and it requires effort. While you may have to acknowledge some less-than-lovely or disappointing stuff around this time, it’s not for nothing. You’re meant to deal directly with reality – even the difficult parts. You may have to confront some uncomfortable truths, but evading them will only create more problems for you this Spring; this same transit will reoccur on April 5th and then again on April 25th. Whatever comes up now is likely to play out over this time span, so don’t except things to get better on their own – it’s time to get to work.

Luckily from the 10th-12th, action-oriented Mars will form a trine to inspiring Uranus, and the Sun will sextile transformative Pluto. These transits will help you see your options, to handle your problems directly, and to break out of old ways. As with most “easy” transits, nothing will force you to be your best – you have to choose it. Bookmark these dates, and really try, my love.

Finally, from the 12th-14th, tender Venus will square no-pain-no-gain Saturn, and the Sun will trine expansive Jupiter. Don’t gloss over problems and placate people and situations in a restless stab at diplomacy. Whatever came up earlier in the week with the Mercury/Saturn transit is likely to kick up some feels now. Be honest with yourself so you can be honest with the people you’re dealing with. Strive to act with integrity, especially when it’d be easiest to act out or check out, lovers.

ARIES

March 21-April 19

You have to begin somewhere. It’s easy to get impatient with beginnings, but they are, in a way, the most magical part of any relationship or project because that’s when anything is possible. You’re at a stage of development that’s fertile but hard to tolerate because of how much is unknown. Don’t assume the worst, Aries. What you can’t see is just as likely to be thrilling as it is to be anything else. This week, pair faith in your own potential with hard work.

TAURUS

April 20-May 20

When finding the answer to a question feels impossible, it might be because the answer is simply “I don’t know.” Uncertainty and confusion suck, but they’re a part of life. How you handle the unpleasant side of life’s mysteries is an important component of your capacity for peace with yourself, Taurus. You don’t need to understand a thing in order to accept it or even to be safe. Work with the evidence that you have – it’s probably more conclusive than you think.

GEMINI

May 21-June 21

When you don’t quite know what you want, nothing seems right. This week your FOMO is likely to be on overdrive, but it’s not for nothing, Twin Star. Stop working so hard to figure out what you “should” do, and start sitting with your desires. Seek to not only identify what you want but to also understand the highly personal context of your feels. If you’re wanting to relive the “good old days,” you’re not going to be very happy. Form goals for your present self that will create a happy future, my love.

CANCER

June 22-July 22

You don’t have to be right to be alright. It’s okay for you to make mistakes, get it wrong, or just miss out on things for no good reason. When this happens, the trick is to pick yourself up and try again. Don’t get so down on yourself that you miss out on the blessings all around you. This week is not necessarily going to bring you setbacks, but your fear of pain will be it’s own cross to bear. Be gentle with yourself as you grow, Moonchild, no matter where you’re at in your journey.

LEO

July 23-Aug. 22

It’s truth time, Leo. It’s time for heart-to-hearts and meaningful check-ins with some people that you care about. Whether or not you have pressing problems isn’t exactly the point; invest your time, love, and care into the relationships that inspire you. Uncertainty and change are in the air, but you don’t have to succumb to them; gratitude trumps anxiety. Make time for celebrating the good stuff, and be brave enough to invest in it too.

VIRGO

Aug. 23-Sept. 22

You gotta crack some eggs to make an omelet, Virgo. Change is an inevitable part of life, so if you’ve been trying to keep things from transitioning, you’re in for a world of hurt. Be honest with yourself about the ways that you’ve outgrown certain dynamics, habits, or people, and instead of jumping to “what’s next?”, just sit with it for a while. The more openly you can own your truth, the more gracefully the next steps will come to you.

LIBRA

Sept. 23-Oct. 22

The answer is always kindness. This week you’re likely to be coping with lots of situations, and the potential in each one of them is great. It may be hard to figure out what’s best to do, so here’s a Pro Tip to making the most of your situation: be nice. Take good care of yourself so you can more easily determine where you’re most likely to find value in your life. Accept the gifts that others offer you, and chose the path that does the least amount of harm, my love.

SCORPIO

Oct. 23-Nov. 21

You’ve got choice, Scorpio. You can act in ways that reflect your highest self, or you can act out of fear or overwhelm, but I can promise you that the results will not be equal. It’s on you to take responsibility for your self-care. Otherwise, you’re likely to act out in ways that create way more problems than they solve. Rather than following the lead of the fastest person you’re dealing with, set your own pace for processing your options this week.

SAGITTARIUS

Nov. 22-Dec. 21

It’s time to look at your fears. If you give too much energy to what you don’t want, you’re basically calling it into being. Honor your emotions without turning them into a story, Sagittarius. It’s healthy and wonderful to feel your feels, but when you weave a narrative to match them, you can unintentionally make things much worse. Strive to stay present with your internal experience while also managing your external affairs this week.

CAPRICORN

Dec. 22-Jan. 19

It’s time to make a call, Capricorn. You have to stand up for what you believe in, and that may bring some conflict into your life. Instead of picking fights or taking the bait whenever someone offends you, strive to listen. People are always revealing themselves to you, and this is an important time for you to pay attention to what you’re being shown but also what you’re revealing of yourself. Put your best foot forward, even when it’s tempting to lash out this week.

AQUARIUS

Jan. 20-Feb. 18

There’s a reason why people aren’t honest all of the time; there are consequences for what you think and do, and it’s easy to want to evade them, even if it isn’t wise. This week you’re on the hook for what you really think and the actions that you’ve taken, Aquarius. Own your part, even if it’s had unintended consequences that you’re uncomfortable with. Having a healthy ego requires that you can learn from your mistakes, my love.

PISCES

Feb. 19-March 20

You are allowed to thrive, even when others are struggling, Pisces. This week, you’re not meant to take on the issues of everyone around you, not only because that won’t really help them, but also because you have other work to do. Your task is to find meaning within the chaos of life, even if that takes some serious inspiration. Self-care isn’t selfish; find ways of holding your boundaries that are effective but also kind to the people around you.
