As gem collectors How many times have you fantasized of living inside of the large crystalline structures usually displayed at gem shows and museums? I know we have ! and apparently so have the architects of the Dutch design firm NL designs. The architects have recently presented these renderings of plans for a very large amethyst quartz crystal cathedral structure that will be located on China's man made island- Ocean Flower.
As many of our readers understand, Amethyst is one of the most effective crystals for healing people, plants that won't grow, and calming animals. Amethyst crystal clusters are used in living spaces to keep the air and life force in the home clean and positive.
Rooms in the hotel would be arranged around the atrium, with access corridors running around the outer perimeter. This would allow every room to face into the central void, which itself would be fronted by glazing.
Although building is slow, the architects of this project have been quoted as saying "By going public we hope to catalyze the project." and we sure hope so too!
